Christine Suver ChristineSuver

I am responsible for the governance structure of the company?s mHealth initiatives, research and collaborations. My work focuses on providing transparent and effective governance practices for the responsible collection and use of digital assets and health data for research. This includes working in a collaborative environment with critical considerations for appropriate patient-centered consents, data protection measures and data interoperability. I serve as the company?s liaison with Institutional Review Board, regulatory offices and government agencies. I am dedicated to making informed consent more open and transparent, to empower citizens to share and track their data, to partner on research and to fund the projects that matter most to them. Together with John Wilbanks I co-designed the patient-centered consent process for the first app-mediated research studies using Apple Research Kit. Prior to joining Sage Bionetworks, I managed research collaborations at a start-up biotechnology company (Lifespan Bioscience) and in large pharmaceutical settings at Merck & Co. Inc. I received a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Washington and hold a professional certification in project management (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
