I am currently a graduate student at the University of Kansas Medical Center, studying to obtain my PhD in biostatistics. I want to explore the many different areas of research offered by my program, especially that of predictive modeling, Bayesian statistics, obesity research, and genomics. While doing this, I am learning a lot about statistical computing (specifically, making GUI's via the R "Shiny" app), learning a variety of topics in coursework, and organizing a networking and internship group.
