Healthcare IT professional specialized in medical image processing and analysis, as well as healthcare system integration. Extensive experience working in hospitals and clinical settings (7 years) and experimental research institutions (+2 years). Also possesses considerable experience overseas, such as USA, Europe and Japan, where he participated in internships, courses, training, technical meetings, conferences and symposia. Bachelor?s of Biomedical Informatics at University of São Paulo (2007), Master?s and PhD in Neuroimaging by the Intern Medicine Department at Ribeirão Preto Medical School - University of São Paulo (2010 and 2014), and graduate student in Business Management at Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP) with main interest focused on Lean Healthcare. Conducted a research internship at the University of Washington (Seattle) at UW Medicine in the Biomedical Image Computing Group (Bioengineering + Pediatrics) between 2013 and 2014, where he worked on the development of automatic alignment and segmentation algorithms for neuroimage (MRI, CT, SPECT and PET). Currently acting as a full Medical Informatics Analyst at AC Camargo Cancer Center, working on the development of web tools for searching and visualization of electronic and digitalized medical documents, as well as the integration of healthcare and research systems. Also acts as a consultant in Medical Informatics and Lean Healthcare at Box360 Management Healthcare Unit. He is a member of the Brazilian Society of Health Informatics (SBIS), where he also acts as auditor (junior) of the SBIS-CFM Certification for EHR/MHR systems. He is an associate member of the European Society of Radiology (ESR), Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Also holds a position as an associate member of the Apple Development Center.
