Joshua Burkhart burkhajo

Joshua is a National Library of Medicine Biomedical Informatics Research Fellow and a member of Oregon Health & Science University's Department of Medical Informatics & Clinical Epidemiology. His research areas of interest include evolutionary genetics, systems biology of cancer, intestinal stem cell signalling, microbiome population genetics, de novo genome assembly, regulatory and systems genomics of human immune response, computational pharmacology of biased agonsim, industrial automation and blockchainification. His professional experience includes automotive communications protocol development, industrial software architecture and engineering, mobile device security and enterprise application monitoring system design. Joshua is also a member of the Portland Art Museum's Docent Council where he assists in developing, planning and leading gallery tours for Portland Public Schools students.
