Dr. Ranadip Chowdhury is a physician-scientist. He did MBBS from Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College, Kolkata, and MD in Community Medicine from RG Kar Medical College, Kolkata. He obtained Ph.D. from the Centre for International Health, Department of Global Public Health and Primary Care, University of Bergen, Norway. He is a DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance Intermediate fellow in clinical and public health. Currently, he is working as Research Scientist and Assistant Director in Society for Applied Studies, New Delhi. He received Global Nutrition Early Career Scholar Award from the American Society for Nutrition in 2018. He is a member of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Task Force on Anemia, Mid-term evaluation of POSHAN Abhiyan, Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT). His primary research interest is to understand drivers of adverse pregnancy outcomes in the context of maternal nutrition and early growth failure.
