I graduated with bachelor degree in science from Qatar University, Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences, with major in biology and minor in chemistry. Since my senior year I was interested in cancer research. I did my bachelor thesis in the field of cancer epigenetics. After graduation, I worked as a research assistant in Hamad Medical Corporation, molecular pathophysiology lab with focus in cancer. Since November 2019 I joined Cancer Research Department, Sidra Medicine, director Dr. Davide Bedognetti, as a research extern in Pediatric Functional Omics Lab led by Dr. Wouter Hendrickx.
