I am an Erasmus Mundus alumni, having completed a 2-year Joint Master?s Degree in Big Data Management and Analytics in August 2019 with a GPA of 9.0/10.0. My curriculum included languages, tools, and software required for Data Engineering or Data Science positions.
I studied Business Intelligence Fundamentals (Data Warehouses, Business Process Mining, Database Architectures, etc.) at the Université libre de Bruxelles, Big Data Fundamentals (Big Data Technologies, Semantic Web, Cloud Computing, etc.) at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and Large-Scale Analytics (Scalable Data Science, Data Stream Analytics, etc.) at the Technische Universität Berlin.
For my Master?s thesis, I collaborated with Siemens Mobility R&D department (Software and Prototypes for Automation) as a data scientist. I worked on online anomaly prediction on data streams for the railroad industry, utilizing various technologies, such as Python, Tableau, and AWS.
Previously, I graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) with a B.Sc. in Informatics having a GPA of 9.47/10. In addition, I was a Research Assistant in two Erasmus+ European Collaborative Partnerships projects, performing data mining and data visualization techniques on social media data.
At the same time, I am socially active, having volunteered in various events and organizations for causes, including children's welfare, promotion of the European identity and human rights, as well as the encouragement of women participation in STEM.
I am an inherently curious person and thus my next steps include scientific research with the pursuit of a Ph.D. degree in the field of Prolonged User Engagement in the sports and wellness domain, an intersection between Data Science, Psychology, Behavioral Science, and Human-Computer Interaction.
