Dr. Rehan Akbani (PhD) is an Assistant Professor at the Univ. of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, in the department of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. He graduated with a PhD in Computer Science in 2009 from the University of Texas at San Antonio. His research interests include bioinformatics analysis of cancer data with a specialization in RPPA data. His other interests include batch effects analysis, and development of tools for visualizing high-dimensional data.
