Hello! Is there a way for me to identify histological descriptions (i.e., microvascular proliferation, necrosis) for each sample_barcode with histology? Is there already a summarised version of this? I tried to look at the data dictionary but couldn't find anything helpful. For a brief idea, I am trying to reannotate the dataset to the 2021 WHO CNS nomenclature and would need some info about these histological descriptions to have a clear idea on grading. Otherwise can I use the hlvl calls for CDKN2A/B to grade the tumours? I am using this paper as guidance https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9820617/.

Hi Kevin, Thank you for your response. I have done the tumor grad revision based on CDKN2A/B status. Thank you for confirming that. Best regards, Toni
Dear @trj11, Thank you for your interest in the GLASS resource. The genomic characteristics needed to guide molecular classification beyond what is presented in the clinical tables can be found in the genomic Tables/Files on this Synapse page, as you have discovered. Unfortunately, our team and the contributing centers have not been able to systematically collect more detailed histologic information (e.g., necrosis, microvascular proliferation). Our next data release (2025) will include a few revisions to the tumor grade based on CDKN2A/B status. For your purposes, this would also seem to be the most appropriate approach. Thanks, Kevin
