Is there any documentation available about the sensor orientation of the data? It is possible to distinguish the y-axis (at +- 9g) , however it is not clear whether the X or Z axis are the correct orientation. Is there any documentation or protocol information as to how the devices were attached to the subjects?

Created by Tanya Dimitrov tanyadimitrov I've found that different devices sometimes have different standards for what is considered X,Y and Z, so these may differ across the devices used. However, for a particular device, the straps tend to dictate the orientation. In the example of the Shimmer sensors, X and Z would not be interchangeable and would be dictated relative to the Y-axis orientation: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41597-021-00831-z/figures/2.
