Why are ages over 90 censored in the Covariate or Clinical files?

For the MSBB study, would we have to directly contact the Mount Sinai Brain Bank to request additional information on exact age data? In order to comply with HIPAA regulations, ages over 90 years can not be released. Thus, all ages of individuals 90 or older are represented as "90+".
