I am trying to find genes differentially expressed in Alzheimer's vs. healthy donors using the MSBB data. Under gene expression in the data processing folder it says the following: 'Known covariate factors, including sex, race, age, RIN, PMI, batch and site, were corrected using a linear model to remove the confounding effects.' I can't find the 'site' covariate anywhere in the data so I can't correct for it.

@minghui.wang thank you! Following up from my question, where can I find exonic rate? The other covariates are clearly labelled in the metadata tables. Is it Mapped/TotalReads? Thanks
Thanks @minghui.wang - will do
Mette, The description is outdated. The current data release has been corrected for batch, sex, race, age, RIN, PMI, exonic rate and rRNA rate. Can you please update the wiki? Thanks. Minghui
I believe 'site' is a correction for the 2 RNA isolation sites. @minghui.wang can you please confirm

Correcting for 'site' in the MSBB data page is loading…
