Thanks for taking my question. I'm interested to know more about the protocol used for monocyte activation. The description says, "polarizing cytokines". Are there more details available? Thanks, John Stephen Malamon

That's perfect. Thanks so much. John
@leiyu kindly followed up about this. This paper describes the work [A human microglia-like cellular model for assessing the effects of neurodegenerative disease gene variants.](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29263232). these are the cytokines: - Freshly add the following polarizing cytokines each time as needed: 1. M-CSF (Biolegend #574806): Use at 10ng/ml (0.01ug/ml). 2. GM-CSF (R&D, 215-GM-010/CF): Use at 10ng/ml (0.01ug/ml). 3. NGF-beta (R&D, 256-GF-100): Use at 10ng/ml (0.01ug/ml). 4. CCL2 (Biolegend #571404): Use at 100ng/ml (0.1ug/ml). 5. IL-34 (R&D, #5265-IL-010/CF): Use at 100ng/ml (0.1ug/ml).
Thanks for the quick response. Yes, syn3607404 is the study data.
@leiyu - can you please clarify what the polarizing cytokines for the MDMI study is syn3607404 Thanks!
