Hi, I was going through the wiki summary for the eQTL analysis (syn17015233) and I just wanted to be clear on the definition of "cis". When the text says "we define "cis" as +/- 1 MB around the gene" does that mean the eQTL boundary is 1MB upstream of the beginning of the gene/1MB downstream of the end of the gene or does that mean that the boundary is +/-1MB around the transcription start site? Thanks!

Gotcha. Thanks!
All markers within 1 MB are included.
So does that mean that regions within the gene body itself can also be considered for gene markers?
@bmlau - That means gene_start - 1 MB to gene_end+ 1MB.
