Dear Synapse team, We just started a collaboration with the ROS MAP team and are interested in single cell RNA Seq of the brain in AD and non AD patients, as well as distinct bulk RNA Seq data. We have also heard from Dr. Bennett that there are some samples from blood monocytes (probably bulk RNA Seq but could be single cell RNA Seq). Where do we find a list that outliens the various samples that were collected. Thanks, Jalees

Hi Jalees, The data can be found by in the AD Knowledge Portal on the study page. The [ROSMAP study page](https://adknowledgeportal.synapse.org/Explore/Studies/DetailsPage?Study=syn3219045) has all the information about the study, the methods for each assay done, the metadata files, and the data files. The data files are annotated with the assay type and organ/tissue used. Bulk RNA seq is annotated with the assay term rnaSeq, while single cell RNA seq is annotated with the assay term scrnaSeq. Currently, we have only released the brain RNA seq data. The release at the end of this month will have the samples from blood monocytes (assay type is rnaSeq, tissue type is blood). The detailed metadata can be found in the metadata files. For ROSMAP, there is a clinical file and a biospecimen file that would be joined together with the RNAseq and scRNAseq assay files. This will get you the extra information about the specimens, some individual information (RUSH has the full individual information for ROSMAP data), and the assays. You can also use the [AD Knowledge Portal data explorer](https://adknowledgeportal.synapse.org/Explore/Data) to filter down to the dataset you are interested in.
