Dear professor: Our team attempts to use MSBB file (Synapse ID: syn3159438) to study the relation between gene expression (RNAseq) and neurological function (vision?memory?language and so on) of AD patients. We looked up the metadata and find the total scores of clinical dementia rating scale (CDR) and mini-mental state examination (MMSE) but failed to find the detailed information about the description of each part of CDR and each part score of MMSE. I am writing to ask whether the institute has these detailed information. If the institute has the detailed information about CDR and MMSE, could you kind enough to share these data with us or tell us how to find these data? Your reply will be very much appreciated. Of course, I'm sorry we can't help you with more detailed clinical info. I would recommend you contact the authors of the study to ask about this information. Best, Abby
Thank you for your reply. I misread the contents of the metadata due to carelessness--the MSBB individual metadata does not include MMSE scores. I looked up this link : https://doi.org/10.1212/WNL.43.11.2412-a, I am sorry that the information isn't what I am looking for. I want to know the specific description of each participant's CDR in this study, I don't find the detailed information yet. Moreover, are there any other scales used in this study to assess memory?verbal functions and language skills?construction?attention?executive functions separately, such as FCSRT?RAVLT?CFT?LAST?BDAE?BDAE? Thank you again for your enthusiastic reply?
Hi there, the MSBB individual metadata (syn6101474) does not include MMSE scores, but it does include CDR scores for each individual. In the study description, the contributors link to this paper in reference to their CDR classification: https://doi.org/10.1212/WNL.43.11.2412-a. Does that help you find the information you need?

Is there a detailed description of CDR and MMSE scores in MSBB file page is loading…
