The field has five unique values: ``` > table(JIP_5XFAD.sampInfo[!is.na(rnaID), jobNumber]) JAX 5xFAD 12mo JAX DMP 5xFAD 4/6month (backups) JAX DMP 5xFAD 4month JAX DMP 5xFAD 6month 24 5 19 24 ``` Corresponding to the age of biospecimen sampling. One of the values is labelled "4/6 months (backups)". What does this mean and can the age of the mice from which these samples were acquired be specified more clearly? Here are the samples in question: ``` > JIP_5XFAD.sampInfo[!is.na(rnaID), ][grep('backup', jobNumber), .(specimenID, individualID, samplingAge, jobNumber), ] specimenID individualID samplingAge jobNumber 1: 46131rh 46131 NA JAX DMP 5xFAD 4/6month (backups) 2: 46134rh 46134 NA JAX DMP 5xFAD 4/6month (backups) 3: 46138rh 46138 NA JAX DMP 5xFAD 4/6month (backups) 4: 46141rh 46141 NA JAX DMP 5xFAD 4/6month (backups) 5: 46142rh 46142 NA JAX DMP 5xFAD 4/6month (backups) ``` Thank you for your help.

Thank you very much @annat22
Hi @ralkallas These 5 mice are 4 months old. We will be uploading updated metadata files soon if you want to wait, including genotype validation.
I contacted the research team to review these issues. Rich
Yes! Thank you very much. If it's possible for the research team to specify which of the biospecimens sampled at "4/6" months were sampled at 4 months and which at 6 months that would be great. Thanks again for your help.
Hi @ralkallas Is your question, what does "4/6month (backups)" mean? I will pass along your question to the research team. Thanks, Rich
