What is the size of training dataset?

On website, it is mentioned that the BraTS 2021 training data consists of 2000 cases but on downloading the zip file, it shows only 1251 training cases. Am I missing some data or understanding it wrongly? Please clarify and guide me. Validation data contains 219 cases, please confirm this too. Thanks.

Hi @trberg, Thanks for the confirmation. The 2000 number is present on http://braintumorsegmentation.org/ under 'data' section and 'Comparison with Previous BraTS datasets' subsection.
Hi @ritu.lahoti, Yes, there are 1251 training cases and 219 validation cases. Where did you see the 2000 number? Is that on the synapse website?
