Although I have access to the data and can intially download it, I keep on receiving the error "Failed - Forbidden."

@black.swan , The data is the same - you can read more about it in the [Data Description](https://www.synapse.org/#!Synapse:syn27046444/wiki/616992): > The training and validation data are the same that were used in BraTS'21; however, the testing dataset used in this year's challenge has been updated with many more routine clinically-acquired mpMRI scans, as well as additional mpMRI scans representing out-of-distribution populations to assess generalizability of methods. That being said, you should've received an email stating that you already had access - apologies if you did not receive one!
Hi @vchung, I already downloaded the BraTS 2021 training and validation data from [BraTS 2021 challenge site ](https://www.synapse.org/#!Synapse:syn25829067/wiki/610863) months ago. Just to make sure, I was wondering if the training and validation data in [BraTS Continuous Evaluation](https://www.synapse.org/#!Synapse:syn27046444/wiki/616571) is the same as that of [BraTS 2021 challenge site ](https://www.synapse.org/#!Synapse:syn25829067/wiki/610863)? If not, I have already submitted the data access request form of [BraTS Continuous Evaluation](https://www.synapse.org/#!Synapse:syn27046444/wiki/616571), but I still do not have access to the data!
Hi @lozanoslab, The labels for the validation and testing cohort will not be made available to the participants. However, you can evaluate the performance on the validation set anytime during the continuous evaluation phase (by submitting the predicted segmentation on the online evaluation platform) and testing cohort by submitting the docker. The timeline and detailed instructions can be found here: https://www.synapse.org/brats
Thank you for the clarification! We were wondering if it were possible to access the full dataset with segmentations to use the data for purposes other than for the BraTS challenge. If so, we would deeply appreciate it.
Hi @lozanoslab, The BraTS challenge includes data from 2040 brain tumor patients. However, this data is divided into training (1251), validation (219), and testing(570) cohorts. We have provided segmentations for training cohorts only. You can submit segmentations for validation cohort on the online evaluation platform. The testing cohort of the challenge will not be shared with the participants.
I believe it might have been my computer as it is now working! Thank you for the assistance. I was wondering where I can access the full database of 2040 brain tumours with segmentation? ?Built up over a decade of work and substantially enhanced for this year?s challenge, it includes data of 2,040 brain tumor (diffuse glioma) patients from 37 institutions around the world. The data include four distinct structural mpMRI scans for each patient and have been manually annotated with detailed segmentations from more than 60 clinical expert volunteers, predominantly from the ASNR.? https://www.rsna.org/news/2021/november/2021-AI-Challenge-Winners
@lozanoslab , I just checked your download permission for the file, and you do indeed have the appropriate permissions. What browser are you currently using? Can you try logging into Synapse from a different browser to see if the problem persists?
Correct, that is the file I am having troubles with! The one that is ~12.5GB.
Hi @lozanoslab , To confirm, you are having issues downloading **RSNA_ASNR_MICCAI_BraTS2021_TrainingData_20210706.zip**? Or one of the other files?
