Hi? According to the paper "Gene expression elucidates functional impact of polygenic risk for schizophrenia. Nature neuroscience. 2016 Nov;19(11):1442"?this study used the eQTL derived from the full cohort of 467 Caucasian-inferred individuals (Synapse ID: syn4622659). However, based on genotype and expression sample information, 478 Caucasian samples (214 SCZ, 212 control, 52 AFF) were extracted from 592 high quality samples instead of 467 Caucasian-inferred individuals. Can you tell me how to screen the extra 11 Caucasian-inferred samples? I tried to find the explanations, however, it seems there are no interpretations. Best, Xiaoyan

@adelalady - Caucasian samples were inferred based on genotype, which didn't exactly match the Reported Ethnicity in the clinical data. This likely explains the difference in numbers.
