Technical batch variables in AddNeuroMed gene exprssion

Hello, I was wondering what technical batch variables were regressed out in the pre-processed AddNeuroMed gene expression data. Did the technical variables also include things like gender, apoe status, cognitive status, etc? Thanks! Best, Manish Paranjpe UCSF
