Preprocessing in submission taking longer than usual

I ran the Docker preprocessing image for submission 8500932 before, and it took 11 hours to complete the last time. Now it's already taken 16 hours. Are variations like this in runtime to be expected? Thanks.

That's especially hard for us (submission 8508817), because we just submitted today to only train a small model with parts of the data. But even that was not possible, with the slow behavior of the system. Is it possible to get an extra 24 hours? Thanks, Christian
