Now I want to find total RNA-seq data for brain and I'm facing a confusing problem. In 'Study Details' pages of Yale-ASD and BrainVar, I can see that bulk RNA-seq libraries were prepared using TruSeq Stranded Total RNA HT Sample Prep Kit with a Ribo-Zero Gold kit (Illumina). But, in data lists of those studies, I can only find data which include 'mRNA' in their names . (e.g. PEC_HSB_Yale-UCSF_mRNA_RiboZero_HSB289-R2.fastq.gz) Maybe BrainGVEX and UCLA-ASD are the case, too. I'm confused whether those data (which have 'mRNA' in names) actually contain total RNA-seq data or not.
