Depth, Width, Height axis Confusion

Which axis is depth, width and height I was going through the nibabel documentation for reading DICOM files after loading a DICOM file, I got a shape of 240 X 240 X 155 Usually nibble should have format of depth, height, width Does this mean the depth here is 240 ?
