Are we permitted to use data in metadata for age prediction?

Are we permitted to use data in metadata (e.g. sex or ethnicity) for age prediction? Or does it have to based purely on CpG methylation values?

Donor sex information is available in GEO once you have data access. However it is not in matrix form but present on the sample page for each sample. There is not any other meaningful metadata that I am aware of. Sex may be used as an input feature for your model.
This is also something I'm wondering, from my understanding of what is written on the challenge website, donor sex should be available. Were you able to access this metadata, and if so where from?
