UID roots and Increment Value

Hello, Many thanks for putting all this together, it must have taken considerable effort, it is a great idea. We were a little late starting due to vacations, do we need to use a specific root for the UIDs and incremental value for the Dates ? Or can we choose our own as long as we are consistent. No specific UID root or date shift value needs to be used. Like you said, you just need to be consistent. Good luck!
