Hello, I may have found another minor DICOM Issue. The Series Level Tags are not always consistent for a given Series Instance UID. An Example is Series Instance UID 2.2.770.1.0.9549343.7.515.1683676004402516592 The above Series Instance UID contains the following 2 DICOM Instances: SOP Instance UID 2.2.770.1.0.9549343.7.515.9558692386012820151 which has Series Number 20191008 SOP Instance UID 2.2.770.1.0.9549343.7.515.1845535222340362106 which has an empty Series Number. I found a few other studies like this so what I was doing was fixing the Series Number to be the none Date Series Number, however, in this case I do not have that option. For this case ( and a few others like it ), should I set the Series Number: - to empty - to be the date Series Number 20191008 - create a number myself ( I do not like doing this as it could mess up the exam ) - just leave the Series Number field as it is ( I do not like doing that either because if they were separate series there should be a separate Series Instance UID ) Regards, Chris

Hi @ChrisAb, You shouldn't assume that DICOM issues are a mistake in the creation of the synthetic dataset. This is a contest after all. My suggestion would be to check the DICOM standard for this particular modality and element. Particularly whether it is a type 1 or type 2 element and address it accordingly. I'll give you a hint. The action I would take is indeed one of your four options. Good luck! Michael
