Award changed from cash to gift?

Wasn't the award a cash prize and certificate before? Now it changed to "Gift & Certificate to the Top 3". Can you explain the reason?

The top3 will receive certification. For gift, NVIDIA will sponse our event and provide gifts. Once this is finalized, we will put the "award section" back and appreciate our sponsor!
@huoy1 Thanks for the explanation! Any update on the "Gift & Certificate to the Top 3"? Also, the award section has been removed from the homepage: https://sites.google.com/view/kpis2024/, why is that?
We keep contacting with our industry sponsor. We realized that the cash price is infeasible due to the complicated tax issue. The current plan is to award NVIDIA GPU to the winner. But that hasn't been finalized yet. Thanks KPIs challenge orgnizers
