The GitHub repo mentions that the 'communication cost' is now evaluated under 'time to convergence', which includes training time. However, the website says 'communication cost'. I wanted to clarify which is it for the current challenge. Thanks!
Created by Asim Ukaye alphaupsilon "Time to convergence" is the correct evaluation. The github repo is generally more updated, so thanks for highlighting that (I'll update the site soon and made a note of this).
The difference here is mainly semantics as the calculation is the same. More time until convergence = higher communication cost. I hope that clarifies!
