Once again we would like to thank everyone we are interested in our EPVS challenge. As the submission deadline is going to end in 3 days. Here, we address some of the key questions participants may have about the submission process and subsequent steps.
Q1: When is the submission deadline for the test phase of the EPVS Segmentation Challenge at MICCAI 2024?
A1: The submission deadline is September 15th, 2024 (Anywhere on Earth, AOE time).
Q2: What happens if the Docker container cannot be successfully executed?
A2: If there are issues with executing the Docker container, the challenge organizers will work with participants to resolve any technical issues. Participants should send an email to the organizers after the submission if they encounter any problems.
Q3: What should participants do if a specific runtime environment is needed for their Docker container?
A3: Participants should specify the desired runtime environment when they submit their Docker container. The default execution platform will include CUDA Version 11.3, cuDNN Version 8.2, and a GPU Model NVIDIA GTX 3090 with 45 GB of available memory. Any additional requirements should be communicated via email.
Q4: What?s next after the submission deadline?
A4: Here are the key dates and next steps following the submission deadline:
? By September 18th, 2024: Participants will receive a confirmation email notifying them of the successful execution of their container, or they will be contacted if any issues were encountered.
? By September 20th, 2024: The challenge organizers will notify participants if their submission is ranked in the top 4 or if their method ranks highest for specific regions of interest (ROIs). Top participants will be invited to present at the challenge event. If they cannot attend in person, they may send a video recording.
? By September 25th, 2024: Participants are requested to submit a short PDF description (1-2 pages) of their method development process to the organizers for potential inclusion as co-authors in a planned challenge paper.
