Dear Participant, Yes, it is possible and encouraged to use external datasets for both Task 1 and Task 2. Utilizing additional data can enhance the robustness and performance of your models. We kindly ask that you cite any external datasets used in your short paper submission. This will help us better understand your approach and the resources that contributed to your results. Additionally, as stated in section 3 of the LISA 2024 User Agreement (excerpt below), if external data is utilized, it should be made available to the LISA 2024 Organizers to ensure the reproducibility of your proposed approach. Please ensure you can share any private data with the LISA 2024 team if you plan to utilize private data in your model training. Publically available data should be cited, as stated above.
