Hello, I try to download BAM files from a closed challenge ("ICGC-TCGA DREAM Mutation Calling challenge") but the url to download the files is for cghub. How can I get access to these data and how can I find out if there is available RNAseq data corresponding to these data? Thank you, Hecate

@RCS, I can confirm that I could only log in using my eRA Commons credentials (commonly used for dbGaP, among other things). @kkdang, any other ideas?
For the link in the https://www.synapse.org/#!Synapse:syn312572/wiki/402585 I think only NIH staff can access the data on the website https://bionimbus-pdc.opensciencedatacloud.org I have tried the google and yahoo sign in. Neither worked. Any suggestions for None-NIH user? Thanks!
HI Lisa, Do the instructions here answer your question? https://www.synapse.org/#!Synapse:syn312572/wiki/402585
Thank you. Unfortunatly GDC created their own IDs for the data and only the TCGA ID can help to identify the samples but not the bam UUID. I will try it on the forum for the challenge. Thanks, Hecate
You might also post the question on the forum for that challenge (syn312572) so the challenge admins see it:   https://www.synapse.org/#!Synapse:syn312572/discussion/default
CGHub no longer exists, and all data for TCGA is now in the NCI's Genomic Data Commons:   https://gdc.cancer.gov/   Hopefully it's straightforward from the sample names to identify the files of interest. I'll reach out to the challenge admins to see what could be done about the documentation there.
