Would it be feasible and sensible to use Synapse to provide APIs for developers to access dataverse files and to track the provenance of their work?
Created by Benjamin Good bgood Yes, that should work. It looks lie dataverse is referencing file using a pretty straight forward URL pointing to the file locations. It should be possible to create Synapse Files with a URL pointing to the files in dataverse. It wouldn't solve the problem of uploading the files to dataverse however. That is, someone would still have to add the file to dataverse first then represent it in Synapse.
