Hi -- did something change with respect to how files inherit sharing settings? Previously new files shared the same settings as the folder (and the folder above, etc), but the last few times I've uploaded new files they are automatically public. Is this new?

There was a change to how sharing settings work, but I'm not sure that it's the reason you are experiencing issues (https://www.synapse.org/#!SynapseForum:threadId=2039).

I just tested by creating a folder inside another folder that had specific sharing settings (non-public), and confirmed that the sharing settings were inherited appropriately.
