Hello, I somehow have two accounts linked to the same email address: rcr37@duke.edu. I would like to delete the account: https://www.synapse.org/#!Profile:3340893 I do not have login credentials to the above account and am unable to reset my login credentials, because of this duplicate account also associated with this email address. Thanks

I was able to access my second account and to my knowledge am using it to post this comment. Please delete this account (Profile: 3340893).
Hi, > I somehow have two accounts linked to the same email address: rcr37@duke.edu. The account you are using to post to this forum is, indeed, linked to the email address you provide. The other account (3340893) is not linked to the same email address. On your end it may be an alias for your email address but from Synapse' view it is a distinct address. > I would like to delete the account: https://www.synapse.org/#!Profile:3340893 We can certainly remove accounts at the account owner's request. We would however need you to demonstrate ownership of the account. > am unable to reset my login credentials, because of this duplicate account also associated with this email address Again, Synapse shows a different email address. If the address is an alias for your primary address then any reset link you trigger from Synapse should be forwarded to you. Can you try sending a reset link to the email associated with the other account? If you are unsure of what address is associated with the other account, you can send email to rramaker@synapse.org. Synapse will then forward the message to the associated email address.
