Hi Organisers, I (along with other PhD students) want to use the Respiratory Viral Challenge Data Set for a different kind of study. Can we use this data if we formulate a different (new) problem definition and can we allowed to publish paper based on that study? Ghanshyam- The Data Use Agreement you agreed to by joining the challenge can be found here: https://www.synapse.org/#!Synapse:syn5647810/wiki/399114. As stated, the data are provided exclusively for use within the Challenge. The gene expression profiling data have been released through GEO, so you are welcome to download that version of the expression data and use them for other purposes. The GEO release does not include the outcome data, however, so those are bound by restrictions placed by the Challenge Data Use Agreement. Solly
