Hello, Could you please elaborate on how you will evaluate the predicted landmarks in relation to missing teeth? Since we do not always have 16 teeth in a jaw, the number of landmarks per jaw may vary. For example, if n landmarks should be detected in a test image and a network predicts n+1 landmarks, will this one additional landmark be considered a false positive? Thanks! Arnela

Hello Arnela, We will use Average Precision (AP) at different distance thresholds and Average Recall (AR) for evaluation. These metrics account for varying numbers of landmarks for 3D intraoral scan. So an extra landmark is predicted, it will affect the AP score. Best regards, Oussama
