Dear all Unfortunately there has been a misunderstanding regarding the DREAM partnership with F1000 Research.   Contrary to what we initially stated in the forum, F1000 Research is **not** able to hold back publication of any paper once it is submitted. Any paper submitted to F1000 Research is *immediately* made publicly available on their website, even before it is reviewed.   > Therefore, like for any other journal, you will have to wait with the submission of your paper until the embargo ends, i.e., until the main paper is published.   There are still advantages to F1000 Research: we can coordinate so that you *submit* on the same day as the main paper is published, like this your paper will appear simultaneously with the main paper. In contrast, for other journals there is a delay between submission and publication. Moreover, F1000 Research papers will be part of the DREAM Channel, together with other DREAM-related papers.   Of course, you can already prepare your manuscript so that it will be ready for submission once the embargo ends, but you have to wait with submission until then. For F1000 research, see: [Author instructions for Method Articles](https://f1000research.com/for-authors/article-guidelines/method-articles).   > Please contact us if you are preparing a paper (regardless for which journal) so that we can coordinate with you and tell you beforehand as soon as we know when the embargo ends.   We apologize for this miscommunication. We are working hard to push the main challenge paper forward as fast as we can.   Best Daniel
