We have some confusion on what genes within a module represent. Within the networks, network number 5 is labeled cancer and the description mentions "genes necessary for tumor types". Does this mean that modules that are identified for all other networks will be associated with only cancer or there is a possibility that other complex diseases are part of the GWAS assessment?

This network is derived from a cancer dataset, but the evaluation uses a collection of diverse GWAS traits and diseases. The same GWAS datasets are used for all networks. As expected, this cancer-related network is not as informative as some of the other networks (e.g., the protein interaction networks) for the non-cancer GWAS datasets. But some of the pathways that are important for cancer cells could also be relevant for other disorders, and indeed we did also find significant modules for this network in our preliminary analysis.
