Thanks everybody for participating in the test round! Scores have been updated in the leaderboard. There were 23 teams in sub-challenge 1 and 17 teams in sub-challenge 2, that's a great start!
Round 1 will go until August 31st, 23:59 Eastern Time (ET). It will open tomorrow (we will announce it on the forum).
Each team can make up to 5 submissions in this round.
Scores will be updated continuously in the leaderboard. **We recommend that you submit early during the submission round to get results fast**. If many teams submit only on the last day, it may take several days until the scoring completes, leaving you less time for the following round.
Created by Daniel Marbach daniel.marbach Hi Daniel, thanks for the information.
If you update the evaluation method, will you consider updating the results of the test submission too?
Thanks Sorry for the delay, the leaderboard will open ASAP and we will extend the deadline for this round.
The reason is that for the delay is a minor problem we noted with the background set of genes that is used to compute the enrichment. The scoring script used the union of all genes in the modules as background, which worked fine with our baseline methods as they included all genes of the network, but if the modules do not include all genes of the network this is not good. We are now using the genes of a given network as background. Loading a background set of genes was not an option in the Pascal tool, so this had to be added and we are now again double-checking that everything is correct before opening the leaderboard.
Thanks for your understanding.
Has the submission to Round 1 opened yet?
Thank you So when can we submit? When I pull down Tools/Submit to Challenge, I don't get the Disease Module subchallenges as an option.
