Has anyone checked if edge weights help with the scores. Given the restrictions in the total number of submssions, I find it hard to experiment enough to judge one way or the other. While different methodologies can get affected differently by weights, I think a consensus on this can guide us all towards the more likely scenario.

We haven't explored whether the edge weights give an advantage, if someone has done such an experiment it would be interesting to know. I understand that the number of submissions is very low to explore all options, I guess some things will have to wait for after the challenge.
