I just wanted to let you folks know that we are launching today. An e-mail regarding DREAM12 went out early this week announcing the launch. We will have an extended open phase of 6weeks to facilitate learning docker submissions. The Challenge wiki will be updated later today.
Yes it is. We are still awaiting on two validation cohorts that should arrive in the next few weeks. Once QC-ed, we will inform of the planned launch date.
It has been 5 months since the last entry. Any updates? Is this still going to happen?

At this point, the January launch is unlikely. We will update wiki with the likely launch data once it becomes more certain.

Dear Richard,
We are still awaiting access to some rather large validation cohorts and the challenge cannot be launched until this data can be accessed by the challenge organizers to assess its quality and make it accessible for scoring participants.
Unfortunately, I cannot give you a more specific timeline yet but we will notify folks via the preregistration when we have a launch date.
