Does the validation expression data has spike ins as in training?

Spike-ins can be use for normalizing rnaseq data. I see that the mmrf data has them. Will the validation also have spikeins?

Hi - Unfortunately, we can't guarantee that the validation expression data will also have spike-ins (or even, the same type of spike-ins) utilized in MMRF data. So, we recommend using other normalizing strategies that don't require spike-ins.
