Dear Colleagues, We are using data downloaded from Synapse (ACCR genie 13.1 public). We would like to know how to find if a mutation is driver. In the web portal, this is depicted is the oncoprint in dark green. Thanks for your help, Olivier

Hey Oliver, Let me start by saying I'm not on the cBioPortal team, and asking them directly is probably the best course for accurate information. However, the cBioPortal team defines a driver in the oncoprint as an alteration which is identified in OncoKB as Oncogenic and in Cancer Hotspots as significantly associated (https://docs.cbioportal.org/user-guide/oql/). If you're working with datasets that you want to annotate yourself, cancer hotspots has a download page (https://www.cancerhotspots.org/#/download) and OncoKB has an annotator tool found at this repository (https://github.com/oncokb/oncokb-annotator). I don't think the data can be directly downloaded with these annotations from cBioPortal. Hope that helps, Alex Paynter
